Netwrix signs up with UBM as a value-added distributor for Benelux
UBM will support local businesses and provide advanced visibility solution for stronger security and control over user activity
London, UK, October 27, 2016
Netwrix Corporation, the first vendor to introduce a visibility and governance platform for hybrid cloud security, announced today the signing of a distribution agreement with United Business Machines (UBM), a leading supplier of third-party software tools in Europe. UBM will create value for partners in Benelux region and encourage knowledge sharing within the IT community to help local businesses improve their cybersecurity posture and prepare them for requirements of new EU GDPR, which will come into force in May 2018.
The new value-added distributor will help the region’s resellers strengthen their business. Netwrix will enable these resellers to offer local customers complete visibility into user activities across their entire IT estate, thus meeting market demand for stronger security in the wake of high-profile data breaches.
Netwrix Auditor is the only visibility and governance platform for hybrid cloud IT infrastructures. Supporting the broadest variety of on-premises and cloud-based IT systems, Netwrix Auditor provides security analytics to detect anomalies in user behavior and investigate threat patterns before a data breach occurs. Empowered with a RESTful API and user activity video recording, the platform delivers visibility and control across your hybrid cloud IT environments to protect data regardless of its location.
"UBM’s tailored approach and focus on introducing innovative products to the market has proven to work well for Netwrix over the past two years," said Richard Nootebos, Country Manager, Benelux & Nordics. "The direct end-user strategy has led to a strong prospect pipeline and healthy business growth in the Benelux market. By taking up the Benelux distribution role, UBM will continue to build on their strength and add value to the growing number of committed Netwrix business partners in the region."
"In the years 2013 and 2014 we noticed a market demand for affordable and easy-to-deploy visibility software that assists organisations with reporting on access rights in their Microsoft environments. In January 2015 we became partners with Netwrix," said Louis Koppes, CEO of United Business Machines. "After almost two years of partnership we can state that it is a pleasure to work with a product that has lots of interest, which is welcomed, is simple to use and is used with satisfaction by our customers. Netwrix license model – with different products - is easy to explain and to understand, and the cooperation with Netwrix staff is excellent."
