Netwrix acquires ANIXIS to enable customers to enforce strong password policies

Netwrix, a cybersecurity vendor that makes data security easy, today announced the acquisition of ANIXIS, an independent software vendor that helps system administrators manage and enforce password policies for user and admin accounts. This acquisition supports the Netwrix commitment to offer solutions to protect access to sensitive data for its customers. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
According to recent cybersecurity research by Netwrix, 79% of CIOs are concerned that users may not follow security best practices while working remotely, putting organizations at risk. With ANIXIS, now part of Netwrix, organizations will be able to address this concern with an easy-to-deploy solution to secure access to sensitive data and significantly reduce the attack surface.
