Avesta Hojjati brings more than 20 years of cybersecurity and technology leadership experience and a strong track record of leading innovation, modernizing platforms, and scaling engineering organizations.
As Chief Technology Officer at Netwrix, he drives the company’s technology vision and execution across its data and identity security portfolio. Prior to joining Netwrix, Avesta served as Chief Technology Officer at SecurityScorecard and held senior leadership roles at DigiCert, where he led global teams across engineering, AI, architecture, infrastructure, and security. With deep expertise in cybersecurity, digital trust, PKI, and post-quantum cryptography, he combines strategic leadership with deep technical credibility and operational rigor. Avesta holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, is the inventor on more than 30 patents, and has authored more than a dozen publications. Based in Texas, he enjoys working on ham radios in his spare time.
