Claudio Reyna
Former Captain, U.S. Men's National Soccer Team, National Soccer Hall of Fame Inductee
Claudio Reyna spent 14 years as a professional soccer player, 12 of them representing the U.S. Men's National Team — including four FIFA World Cups as team captain. His club career spanned Europe's top leagues, with stints at Bayer Leverkusen and Wolfsburg in Germany, Rangers in Scotland, and Sunderland and Manchester City in England, before finishing with the New York Red Bulls in MLS. He was the first American to captain a European first-division club. After retiring from play, Reyna moved into executive roles in U.S. soccer, serving as Youth Technical Director for U.S. Soccer and sporting director at New York City FC and Austin FC. He was inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 2012.
