Visibility Improves Security, Say 87% of Netwrix Customers

Netwrix customers share insights into how the visibility and user behavior analytics provided by Netwrix Auditor have significantly improved their security and compliance postures and increased the efficiency of IT operations.

Netwrix Corporation, the first vendor to introduce a visibility and governance platform for hybrid cloud security, today released the key findings of its 2017 global customer survey. The survey is conducted annually and aims to identify the value that visibility brings to customers and how they improve security, compliance and IT operations processes with Netwrix Auditor.

Netwrix Auditor is a visibility and governance platform that enables control over changes, configurations and access in hybrid cloud IT environments to protect data regardless of its location. The platform provides security analytics to detect anomalies in user behavior and investigate threat patterns before a data breach occurs.

The survey gathered insights from 223 Netwrix customers representing organizations of various industries and sizes worldwide. According to the survey, 97% of customers are satisfied with Netwrix Auditor, as it has enabled them to achieve the following results:

  • Stronger security. 87% of the surveyed organizations have been able to maintain security policies more efficiently and have improved the security of their IT infrastructures and data. About a third (31%) of Netwrix customers have managed to prevent data breaches at least once.
  • Quicker preparation for IT audits. Customers not only maintain security policies with Netwrix Auditor, but also use it to find information requested by auditors and generate compliance reports. Overall, the platform has simplified audits for 74% of customers and saves time for all of them: 31% of the organizations save up to 12 hours of work during each audit, 60% save between 12 hours and 1 week, and 9% save more than 1 week.
  • More efficient daily IT operations. The majority of customers (86%) have been able to free up resources and concentrate on more important tasks because Netwrix Auditor automates a significant amount of routine work. In fact, 51% of customers save more than 3 hours weekly.
