All of these self-service offers are the same Netwrix products used by larger organizations, the self-service plans simply provide a streamlined way for smaller teams to get started without a traditional sales cycle. For larger and more complex environments, you can get the same products with full technical support and broader commercial options through Netwrix sales or authorized partners.

SaaS (hosted by Netwrix):
This means the product is delivered as a cloud service by Netwrix, hosted in Microsoft Azure. No setup or infrastructure is required on your end - just log in and start using the product.

On-prem (hosted by customer):
This means you’ll install and run the product in your own environment, whether that’s on physical servers, virtual machines, or cloud infrastructure you manage.

All self-service products are licensed per account, where an account is defined as the combined total of:

• Enabled Active Directory (AD) user accounts, plus
• Cloud-only Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) user accounts

Each unique enabled account counts as one license. This model allows you to secure both traditional on-prem identities and modern cloud-only users under the same pricing structure.

No, monthly subscriptions to Netwrix products are not available for self-service purchase. Minimum purchase commitments are one year. For monthly subscriptions, contact sales or purchase through an authorized partner.
